The Greater Shepparton Women's Award recognises and celebrates the achievements and positive community impact that local women have made within the Greater Shepparton municipality.

Nominations are welcomed from all who identify as women and/or female living, working, studying or volunteering in Greater Shepparton, who:

- make a positive difference to their community

-acknowledge, embrace, and/or represent diversity

-are a role model for other women

-lead, support or mentor other women/girls to promote equity

The Award is an initiative of the Greater Shepparton Women's Charter, a group of passionate women from a diverse range of backgrounds whose guiding principles are gender equity, encouraging diversity in women's representation and participation, and active citizenship.
